
In 1990, Käthe Kruse's daughter and successor Hanne Adler-Kruse and her husband Heinz Adler gave the management of the Käthe Kruse Company into the hands of Andrea K. Christenson and Stephen Christenson.
Already in 1998, the town of Donauwörth was bequethed with the private Käthe Kruse collection of Hanne Adler-Kruse and Heinz Adler, with the obligation to build a museum to show the Käthe Kruse collection to the public. Today, the Käthe-Kruse-Doll-Museum of the town of Donauwörth is housed in the ancient and listed building of the former Capuchin monestary in the Pflegstraße 21a in Donauwörth. On display are beautiful Käthe Kruse dolls of the last 100 years, one room is dedicated to how the dolls are made, dollhouses show dolls in lovely decorations, a film tells visitors all about the Käthe Kruse history and you can hear Käthe Kruse's voice in a telephone interview.
The museum in open to individual visitors as well as groups. Interessting programmes, special offers for children and special exhibitions guarantee an interessting visit.
